Bentley Brooklands Coupe:

The Bentley Brooklands Coupé will be hand-assembled, employing traditional coach-building techniques and craftsmanship skills in wood veneer and leather hide. Lifetime production is planned for 550 cars, with deliveries expected to start in the first half of 2008.

The Brooklands is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6 ¾-litre V8 engine producing 530 bhp (395 kW) and 1050 Nm (774 ft·lbf), the highest torque ever developed by a production V8 engine. It can achieve 0-60 mph in around 5 seconds, and a top speed in the region of 296 km/h (184 mph). With an optional ceramic braking system and 14 inch rotors the new Brooklands offers more stopping power than any passenger vehicle currently available for purchase.

Bentley Continental GT :

The Bentley Continental GT is a grand tourer coupé with two doors and a 2+2 seating arrangement, released in 2003, replacing the previous Rolls-Royce-based Continental R and T.
It is equipped with a 6.0L, twin-turbocharged W12 engine, producing 552 hp (412 kW), with a top speed of 198 mph (319 km/h). The car is designed by Belgian designer, Dirk van Braeckel. The Continental GT is built on the Volkswagen Group D1 platform. Largely, it could be considered a rebadged Volkswagen Phaeton, with a different styling and a more powerful engine, most of the technical components being identical to those on the Phaeton.

World Speed Record On Ice:

In early 2007, a Bentley Continental GT Speed driven by four-time World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen broke the world speed record on ice on the frozen Baltic sea near Oulu, Finland. It averaged 321.6km/h (199.86 mph) in both directions on the "flying kilometer", reaching a maximum speed of 331 km/h (207 mph). The previous record was 296 km/h (184 mph), achieved with a Bugatti EB110 Supersport.
The record-breaking Bentley was largely standard except for a roll-cage, aerodynamic improvements, and low-temperature fuel and calibration.

The Bentley Continental Flying Spur is a four-door variant of the Bentley Continental GT coupe. The Flying Spur was introduced in 2005, and is presently Bentley's fastest four-door sedan.The Flying Spur is equipped with a 6.0 L, twin-turbocharged W12 engine producing 552 hp (412 kW), with a top speed of 195 mph (314 km/h). Permanent four-wheel drive is standard. As with the Continental GT, the Flying Spur is built on the Volkswagen Group D platform. Largely, it could be considered a rebadged Volkswagen Phaeton with a different styling, and a more powerful engine, most of the technical components being identical to those on the Phaeton. The car was designed by the same team that produced the Continental GT.
The Flying Spur is currently built at Bentley's factory in Crewe, England. Due to a lack of capacity at the Crewe factory upon the car's introduction, Flying Spurs destined for markets other than the USA and UK were built at Volkswagen's Transparent Factory in Dresden, Germany. This arrangement ended in 2006 when all assembly work reverted to Crewe.
For 2009, Bentley will introduce a Flying Spur Speed model. Similar to the Continental GT Speed, engine output will be increased to 600 hp (450 kW), with a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h).

Performance:

Initial reports suggest that the 6.5 L (400 cu in) V12 may receive a power boost of approximately 10 bhp (7.5 kW), bringing the new output to 650 bhp (480 kW).In spite of this, and the car's carbon fibre components, the Reventón accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in the same time as the Murciélago LP640 (3.4 seconds).The car is capable of reaching a maximum speed of over 340 km/h (210 mph).

Interior:

The instrument panel in the Reventón comprises three TFT liquid crystal displays (LCDs) with two different display modes. The instruments are housed in a structure milled from a solid aluminium block, protected by a carbon fiber casing. The G-Force-Meter is completely new and it is one of the talking points of the Reventón. It displays the dynamic drive forces, longitudinal acceleration during acceleration and braking, as well as transversal acceleration around bends. These forces are represented by the movement of an indicator on a graduated 3D grid depending on the direction and intensity of the acceleration. Formula One teams also use a similar device to analyze dynamic forces.
By simply pressing a button, the driver can switch to the second, quasi-analogical display, where there are the usual circular instruments; speedometer and tachometer. The G-Force-Meter still remains at the center of this display mode.It is an expensive purchase but it is worth its features and out-look.its price ranges about $1400000.....

Toyota's redesigned Corolla is a bit like the healthy-fare portion of a restaurant menu: On paper, its qualities should draw plenty of left-brained buyers, but like the overcooked tilapia you're always stuck forking through, its overall appeal is missing something. If compact sedans drew only on prudent sensibilities, this Corolla could have risen to the top — and, indeed, with rising gas prices, it still might. Given that today's best small cars manage to pique both sides of the brain, however, Toyota's latest entry underwhelms.The Corolla comes in Standard, LE and XLE trim levels; most include an automatic transmission.A sportier version is offered in S or XRS trims, while the redesigned Toyota Matrix and Pontiac Vibe serve as hatchback offshoots. I drove a Corolla XLE.

Its standard features include engine of 1.8-liter four-cylinder.Horsepower @ rpm is 132 @ 6,000.Torque (lbs.-ft. @ rpm) is 128 @ 4,400.Five-speed manual or four-speed auto transmission.

Its mileage penalty is significant, though: In the Corolla it returns 22/29 mpg (city/highway) with a stick or 22/30 with an automatic, compared to 27/35 mpg with the 1.8-liter engine and either transmission.

Antilock brakes are standard, though all trims but the XRS have low-tech drum brakes in back. The pedal in my test car seemed a bit mushy, especially compared to the braking response from four-wheel-disc cars like the Hyundai Elantra or uplevel Civics. Senior editor Joe Wiesenfelder took the Corolla out in the rain, and he found in one instance that ABS kicked in prematurely and resulted in an unsettling lateral lurch as the car came to a stop.

Suspension hardware includes an independent front and semi-independent, torsion beam rear — again, inferior to competitors with four-wheel-independent suspensions.

Without the destination charge, the Corolla starts at $15,250. Standard features include air conditioning, power mirrors and a CD stereo with an auxiliary jack. Note that there's no iPod-specific hookup like Scion, Toyota's sibling nameplate, offers.The Corolla LE adds power windows and locks, while the XLE gets fake wood trim, backlit gauges and keyless entry — a $245 option on the LE that really ought to be standard. Both the LE and XLE include an automatic transmission. The S and XRS sport various exterior add-ons, along with sportier seats and a leather-trimmed steering wheel with audio controls. Both models revert to manual door locks and windows, though — particularly disappointing for the XRS, which costs more than the better-equipped XLE. Power accessories, heated leather seats, a moonroof and a navigation system are optional.Load an XRS to the hilt, and the sticker comes up just shy of $25,000. All told, the Corolla doesn't boast quite as much value for the money as some of its competitors do.

Corolla in the Market:Gas mileage and safety credentials lend the Corolla plenty of textbook appeal, and if the car's 40-year history is any indication, the latest version should prove as reliable as the sunrise. Barring any quality snafus — a significant unknown, considering the latest Camry V-6's track record — these factors could be enough to drive the Corolla's success.As a compact car that hits on all fronts, however, the Corolla disappoints. It's the sort of choice born out of your inner sense of responsibility — a solid pick, perhaps, for parents shopping for their teen driver. The problem for Toyota is that a lot of competitors have managed to package textbook sensibilities with compelling styling and fun-to-drive appeal. Judged against these rivals, the Corolla comes off as an also-ran.

Ferrari's 2-seat Gran Turismo flagship model, replacing the 575 M Maranello in 2006 as a 2007 model. The 599 GTB debuted at the Geneva Motor Show on February 28, 2006. Styling of the 599 GTB was handled by Pininfarina, under the direction of Ferrari stylist, Frank Stephenson. Tipo F133F 6.0 L (5999 cc) V12 engine produces a maximum 620 PS (456 kW/612 hp), making it the most-powerful series production Ferrari road car.
